FritsJurgens System FX Pivot Hinge with Hold Set

System FX is a compact pivot hinge system for interior doors and partition panels that are frequently kept open. With extremely strong hold positions at 0°, 90°, 180°, and 270°, a slim 38 × 32 mm profile, and free-swinging movement, it's ideal for high-traffic commercial and residential interiors.

Available in three configurations — 40 mm side placement, 70 mm to center placement, and Top Pivot Reversed (TP-R) — with Class A (20–119 kg) and Class C (up to 209 kg) available across all. Class G (up to 500 kg) is available for both 70 mm and TP-R configurations.

Manufactured in the Netherlands.

What's Included

Each System FX set includes all components required for installation: the bottom pivot, top pivot, floor plate, and ceiling plate. Specify your configuration at the time of order.

• Top pivot: Matched to weight class and placement (40 mm or 70 mm, Class B or G; or Reversed)
• Floor plate: Squared, Round, Flush Squared, or Flush Rounded
• Ceiling plate: Class B or Class G to match top pivot

Floor Plates

All floor plates are 80 mm in diameter or width. Surface-mounted plates sit on top of the finished floor. Flush (recessed) floor plates are designed for exterior-mounted door applications — recessed into the sill to accommodate drop seals and weather-tight thresholds.

Handling & Operation

• Guide the door manually until it reaches a hold position (0°, 90°, 180°, 270°).
• From ±10° of a hold position, the system returns to (and holds) the nearest position.
• Free swing between 10° and 80°; no self-closing or damping.

Ideal Applications
