Lithic Dining Chair

The Lithic Dining Chair by Maha Alavi is a dining chair in solid oak with a generous upholstered cushion. Inspired by prehistoric craft, the Lithic series extrapolates the most basic chair frame into an exaggerated, soft form — rounded proportions balanced by a compact profile. Carefully machined turns in the oak frame cradle the cushion.

Designed by Maha Alavi, a Toronto-based industrial designer whose work is defined by seamless joinery and intuitive forms — creating visual fluidity that is both immediate and gentle.
