The Invisible Plate Toggle Switch by Forbes & Lomax is a transparent acrylic toggle switch available in 1- to 4-gang configurations. The Invisible line was inspired by the glass plates of the 1930s, designed to showcase unique wall treatments such as wallpaper and lime wash. Each unit includes two wall plates: a clear lucite top plate and a white metal backplate. When installed over stone or tile, the white metal backplate may require faux painting to blend with the surface.
Established in 1987, Forbes & Lomax is a UK-based heritage electrical brand recognized by architects and designers for refined switch and outlet design.
Toggle switches can be mixed with rotary dimmers and push buttons on the same plate for custom electrical configurations. Contact us for specific configurations.
