Smoothline Flush Mount Wall Plate: Alternate Material Mount

The Smoothline Flush Mount Wall Plate by DesignMod is an innovative flush-mount outlet and switch system designed for wood, stone, and tile surfaces. Installation uses a standard junction box with adequate depth. UL listed for safety in the U.S. and Canada.

Note: The Smoothline system does not include a GFCI outlet. Compatible with standard Decora GFCI outlets — verify GFCI dimensions before ordering (some GFCI outlets have a large metal ring that may interfere with wood veneer covers).

Suitable Installation Surfaces

• Wood (including painted and stained)
• Solid materials (stone, marble) — requires fabricating cutouts prior to installation
• Tile — requires a grout line around the flange to mask edgework

Materials

Available in gloss white or birch veneer face with white or black flange. Birch can be stained or painted. Gloss white can be painted (use a primer suitable for plastic). Flame retardant PC/ABS.
