Charlie Straight Grab Bars

The Charlie Straight Grab Bar by CBH is a fully customizable safety bar available in multiple lengths, diameters, finishes, and flange configurations. Two surface options: smooth (residential/design-forward) and knurled (OBC and ADA compliant for regulated spaces). Made in Canada.

Specifications

• Standard diameter: 31.75 mm (1.25")
• Custom diameters: 25.4 mm (1"), 38 mm (1.5" — OBC/ADA code-compliant size)
• Standoff: H 38 mm (1.5") from wall to inside surface of grab bar

Surface Options

• Smooth — Refined and minimalist; suitable for residential and design-forward spaces. May not meet code requirements for grip in regulated spaces.
• Knurled — Functional high-grip texture that meets Ontario Building Code (OBC) and ADA requirements for accessibility. Ideal for public or regulated environments. Hand-applied — slight variations in texture, edge sharpness, or pattern consistency are inherent to the craftsmanship. All sales final.

Flange Options

• Concealed — only available for 31.75 mm (1.25") diameter
• Exposed

Material Notes

• Antique and oxidized finishes are hand-applied, resulting in unique, organic surface variations.
• Lacquered finishes maintain a consistent appearance over time. Unlacquered finishes will naturally age and develop a patina.
• Most finishes are lacquered by default. Satin Nickel, Satin Chrome, and Satin Stainless Steel are unlacquered. Oxidized Bronze is lacquered unless requested otherwise.
