The Bi-Part Barn Door Hardware (Face Mount) by 1925Workbench is a dual-door sliding system in solid brass and steel that operates along a single continuous track. Two doors slide in opposite directions for opening and meet seamlessly at the centre when closed — maximizing space efficiency for wide openings.
For layouts requiring greater flexibility, a Bypass configuration is also available.
Designed and manufactured in Toronto by 1925Workbench. Patented in Canada and the USA.

Specifications
- Weight Capacity
- Rated for doors up to 200 lbs per pair of hangers (actual capacity varies by wall structure and mounting method)
- Pre-Drilled vs. Not Pre-Drilled
- Pre-drilled holes spaced every 14.75"–17.25" along the track
- Pre-drilled tracks must be mounted on a backing piece to clear baseboards or mouldings
- Not pre-drilled tracks can install directly to the wall if baseboards are flush and adequate blocking is present
- For Black Powder Coated "Not Pre-Drilled" orders, a 1.5" hole is drilled at each end for hanging during the coating process
- Track Length & Measuring
- Track length: order at least twice the width of the door plus a minimum 2" overlap on each side
- Door should be 4" wider than the opening (2" overlap per side) and large enough to cover any door casing
- Tracks over 93" ship in two pieces
- Recommended headroom: 8"–10" (minimum 6")
- Additional Components
- Floor Guide — a small bracket mounted at the base of the door for alignment during operation. Highly recommended for stability. Available in Slot Guide or Clamp Guide styles.
- Price includes hardware only. Door and header piece not included.

Crafted from solid brass, stainless steel, and hot rolled steel. High-quality solid brass rollers with double built-in ball bearings deliver smooth, quiet door motion.
Available Finishes
- Solid Brass (light oil coat — will develop patina over time)
- Stainless Steel (hand-brushed)
- Hot Rolled Steel (raw, minimal treatment)
- Matte Black (powder coated)
Suitable for outdoor applications — finishes will patina more quickly when exposed to the elements.
